Local Rodent Control Needed

The rodent population is falling here in Placerville. Mr. Kitty brought another mouse to the door, maybe the cat has some anger issues that need to be talked about with a professional. A professional like an exterminator! Maybe the professionals could learn the proper techniques from Mr. Kitty. Mice, birds, lizards, he's not too picky about what to catch. If it moves he's interested.




What did the bird do to deserve this? I don't know. Perhaps he wasn't aware of his surroundings. Maybe he had too much bird seed and got fat and slow. Or how about the fermented fruit intoxication. I'm not sure. Let's just leave this one to Darwin - get fit or die!

Mr. Kitty got busy with his kill count today, he bagged two beauties. I'm not much on the killing of animals, I'm just the clean up guy. I wonder if I could hire someone to clean the dead animals?These animals have been placed for my approval from my feline friend. Maybe the Greenpeace organization will need to step in and bring peace and tranquility to our home. Surely, rodent rights are being violated. Here is the first catch of the day. Seems the mouse's head is nearly removed.

As a bonus, Mr. Kitty kicked in a lizard for laughs and giggles today.

Mr. Kitty kills bird, more seed for others.

The killing of innocent animals has spread the the feathered variety. Not to be limited to the rodent family, Mr. Kitty has branched out into the sky. Not sure how he caught the dawn thing, but it appear on the back door mat. I'm told that cats leave the kill at your door step to show their appreciation. And I appreciate that!









Kill count is up to 21 and rising.

Obama's For Change, Mr.Kitty's for Killing.

The presidential results are in. Obama will now change the country.

Mr. Kitty is for killing. He will change the country, one mouse at a time.

Didn't that long to get another mouse. I came across this mouse in the garage, I don't know if it were caught in the garage or brought to us from outside.

Poor guy seems to have been tortured by Mr. Kitty for a while. How's that for change?

Mouse Killer

It all started when I found a dead mouse in the garage. I've seen dead mice before, even in my garage. The difference was that the mouse had blood on it as if it were attacked by another animal. Not mauled, just wounded to death. I threw it away and went about my day. A few days later, I found another at the back door. My first thought was, "We have a mouse problem." Next came, "What's killing these things?"



Shortly before these findings we had gotten a cat that seemed rather passive. A lap cat, the purring "come pet me" kind, you know the type. Darn cat is a hunter. A hunter who hunts regularly. I like that in a cat. Our cat, let's call him Mr. Kitty, has been catching mice and leaving them at our door steps. I missed several of the early ones but the Kill Count is about 18 as of today. I plan on photographing and posting my findings. This should be fun.
